Cavalry sabre, around 1800, iron. - Cavalry sabre, around 1800, iron. Probably English model M 1796, so-called ”original Blücher sabre”. Leather grip mod. replaced. Curved blade with double fuller. Iron scabbard with two carrying rings, various military stamps and numbers on top, but these have been stamped over in the same period and are illegible. Stamped ”208” (?) on the back of the blade. Also stamped on the crossguard, illegible. Partially rust-stained, but cleaned. Large notch on the lower guard. Heavy design. Total length with scabbard 100 cm
