Box with Boulle marquetry, 19th c - Box with Boulle marquetry, 19th century. Curved rectangular body with hinged lid. The sides are inlaid with brass strips. The lid features elaborate Boulle marquetry, brass and lacquer, in detailed tendrils and leaves, with a medallion in the center. Interior divided into smaller compartments. With key, but this is not functional. Lacquer with craquelure, otherwise slightly rubbed and bumped, 31 x 25 x 5.5 cm
