Christmas tree stand with music box, G - Christmas tree stand with music box, Germany, circa 1880. Wooden body, containing mechanism for a record player, with iron frame for a Christmas tree that rotates when played. Mechanism tested, in working order. Body veneered, brass handles on the sides. Front marked with embossed wooden sign ''Gloriosa Symphonion''. With crank for winding and 18 disc plates, 9 of which are modern reproductions. Body (without iron frame) minimally scuffed, approx. 41 x 26 x 13 cm
