Will Sohl (1906–1969), “Sylt,” 1 - Will Sohl (1906–1969), “Sylt,” 18 lithographs on paper, printed by Marliani in Düsseldorf, 1947, no. Cop. 21/100, each hand-signed; Sohl studied, among other places, at the Düsseldorf Art Academy and was a master student of Heinrich Nauen (1880–1940). Sohl visited Sylt for the first time in 1935 and was captivated by the landscape and the sea. Various abstracted landscapes, some sheets yellowed, two with glazes on the edges, one with water damage, each approx. 26 x 41 cm, with title sheet loose in unmarked envelope (buffed), 38 x 42 cm
