“Marie Antoinette” bust, Sèvres, late 19th - “Marie Antoinette” bust, Sèvres, late 19th century, white bisque, bust of the young queen gazing into the distance, her pinned-up hair adorned with flowers. Shoulder view with a richly draped, fur-lined cloak featuring a lily pattern and tassels; around her neck, a medallion bearing the image of her husband, Louis XIV; on a round pedestal in cobalt blue with gold edges, with firing cracks and chips, H. 80 cm, based on the bronze bust of Marie Antoinette by Felix Lecomte (1783) in Versailles.
