USSR Award Group (WWII Veteran) - USSR award collection of a WWII veteran. Historically significant set of Soviet military awards, consisting of a large ribbon bar with 8 medals and a separate Order of the Patriotic War (1st Class). Era: Second World War (Great Patriotic War) until anniversary awards 1985. Special features: The group contains two medals ”For Valour” and one medal ”For Combat Merit”, all with individual serial numbers on the reverse. The rare combat award ”Defense of Moscow” is also included. Condition: Good, collectible condition commensurate with age. The enameling of the order is well preserved. The mounting of the ribbon bar is original (sheet metal backing).
