Manufacturer's mark ”K.O.” (Königliches Münzamt Orden - Royal Mint Office for Orders) on the ribbon ring. It is in age-appropriate, good condition with intact blackening and silver frame. Also included is the original certificate of ownership, issued on July 28, 1918, for Rifleman Ernst Engeler of the 1st M.G. Company of the Queen Augusta Guard Grenadier Regiment No. 4.
