Buttonhole Badge of the National Socialist Old Comrades' Association of German Students (NS-Altherrenbund) - Rare buttonhole version of the National Socialist Old Comrades' Association of German Students (NS-Altherrenbund). The NS-Altherrenbund was a sub-organization of the NSDAP for former students and academics who were already in professional life. The badge served to show membership in this academic elite organization of the party. The round badge is enameled. It shows a central, diamond-shaped (rhombus) square with a black swastika on a white background. Inscription: The circumferential text reads: ”NS.-ALTHERRENBUND DER DTSCH. STUDENTEN”.
