3rd Reich Set of Glass Badges Complete WHW Collection: ”Heads of Famous German Men” (1940/41) - Badges WHW Heads of famous German men approx. 1940/41 3rd Reich 20 WHW glass badges in original presentation Case display For sale is a complete series of 20 glass badges from the Winter Relief Work (WHW), issued during the Reich Road Collection on October 19th and 20th, 1940. The special feature of this offer is the rare, original presentation case. Set details: Motive: Portraits of significant personalities of German history from science, art, and military (including Goethe, Schiller, Kant, Bismarck, Frederick the Great). Material: Colored, transparent glass with embossed portraits on the back. Condition of the badges: All 20 pieces are present. The glass plaques are in excellent condition, without chips or cracks; the needles on the reverse are largely original. Original case: The set is located in the original, foldable presentation cardboard (display stand) with a red cover. The inscriptions for the respective heads are clearly legible.
