Visor Cap for Officers of the Fire Protection Police - Visor cap for officers of the Fire Protection Police from the time of the Second World War (approx. 1939–1945). Purpose Type: Service cap (visor cap) of the German Fire Protection Police. Color scheme: * Outer fabric made of dark blue cloth. Distinctive crimson piping (branch color of the fire brigade) on the edge of the cap and above/below the cap band. Black velvet band. Insignia (badges): Top: Cockade in the national colors (black-white-red). Middle: The national emblem of the police – a stylized eagle in an oak leaf wreath with a central swastika. Black patent leather visor and a black patent leather chin strap attached above the visor with two black buttons. Condition II The fabric appears clean, but the patent leather visor shows clear signs of wear at the edge (scuffs/color loss), which is common for original pieces from this period.
