Wyon - Description: A pair of Neoclassical relief carved allegorical scenes, one depicting 'Sleep and Death', both with a bronze medallion verso with reference to 'Arts and Commerce Promotions', and W. Wyon. Both in later gilt deep wood frames. Materials: Marble Markings & Inscriptions: Marked, one with an English registration mark/impression lower right Date: Mid to late 19th century Maker: W. Wyon Dimensions: 19.25” x 11.25” framed. Provenance: From a Malvern, Pennsylvania collection. Condition: Good condition, some surface wear, one cherub wing with a small chip.
