Chippendale Mahogany Chest of Drawers, Late 18th Century - Description: A mahogany chest of drawers having a dovetailed case and top, attached carved and molded edges, above graduated drawers and carved bracket feet. Replaced brasses. Markings & Inscriptions: Unmarked Date: Late 18th century Maker: English or American Dimensions: 37” x 37.25” x 21”. Provenance: From a Wilmington, Delaware collection. Condition: Crack to 2/3 of the length of a side panel. Some shrinkage cracks to the top. General surface wear. Overall condition is fair to good.
