Oak Cutlery Box, Horse Tobacco Cutter, Etc. - Description: Assorted primitives and decorative arts including an American carved and pierced oak cutlery box, a cast iron horse-form tobacco cutter, two folk art painted figural pull-string articulating figural toys signed and dated 1935, an Anglo-Indian inlaid porcupine quill basket, and two wrought iron candle sconces. Markings & Inscriptions: Unmarked Date: 19th - early 20th century Maker: Various Dimensions: Tobacco Cutter: 8” x 15” x 9”. Porcupine quill basket: 3.5” x 7” x 9”. Provenance: From a Hockessin, Delaware collection. Condition: Cutlery box with scattered repairs, porcupine quill basket with scattered shrinkage cracks, missing inlay. Generally good condition otherwise with expected wear given the age.
