Fourteen Pieces of Cobalt Blue Wedgwood Jasperware - Description: A group of fourteen pieces of cobalt blue Wedgwood jasperware. To include a pair of silver metal topped biscuit jars with shaped handles, a cachepot, five pitchers of various size and shape, a hot water or milk pitcher with pewter lid, a covered sugar bowl, a creamer, a covered butter tub with underplate, a bud vase, and a teapot. Markings & Inscriptions: Marked to the undersides Date: 19th/20th Century Maker: Wedgwood Dimensions: Largest pitcher measures 7.5” x 3.75”. Provenance: From a Yardley, Pennsylvania collection. Condition: Most pieces in good condition with no chips or cracks. Small area of discoloration and chip to edge of cache pot, butter tub missing top handle of the lid. Small cracks to the decoration around the spout of the teapot. Discoloration and small cracks to the decoration on one of the smaller pitchers.
