Meissen Sweetmeat Reclining Woman Dish and Worcester Potpourri Vases - Description: Meissen blue and white hand painted sweetmeat dish with a reclining woman with an exposed breast, in a blue onion pattern and delicately rendered details of the flesh, hair, and clothing. Also included are two unmarked porcelain reticulated potpourri vases attributed to Worcester in an egg shape on a tri-foot cabriole base. Human heads are carved around the rim of the vases. Markings & Inscriptions: Meissen is marked with crossed-swords on underside, eggs are unmarked Date: Mid 20th century Maker: Various Dimensions: Meissen bowl: 12” x 6.5” x 8”; potpourri vases: 4.75” x 3”. Provenance: From a Doylestown, Pennsylvania collection. Condition: Very good condition. No apparent chips or cracks.
