Five 19th Century Pennsylvania Stoneware Crocks and Jug - Description: Five Pennsylvania 19th century stoneware crocks, including a 1 1/2 gallon crock with cobalt blue details, a F.H. Cowden Harrisburg crock, a blue glazed crock, a stoneware jug, and a salt-glazed batter bowl or chamber pot. Markings & Inscriptions: One marked F.H. Cowden, Harrisburg; rest unmarked Date: 19th Century Maker: American Dimensions: Largest measures 12” x 7”. Provenance: From a Phoenixville, Pennsylvania collection. Condition: Fair condition. Blue crock has lost both handles and has a large crack, Cowden crock has been one large crack that has been glued over; rest in good condition with minor stress fractures or hairlines.
