Seven Splint Woven Baskets - Description: Lot of seven splint woven baskets, likley made in New England. All feature a bentwood handle, and most are reinforced with nails. Comprises four round baskets, two squared baskets, and one rectangular basket, likely made of oak, hickory, and ash wood. One marked basket features a green painted base. Markings & Inscriptions: One marked 'N' on handle, the rest are unmarked. Date: 19th and 20th century Maker: American Dimensions: Smallest measures: 10.5” x 10.25”. Largest measures: 15” x 15.25” x 20.25”. Provenance: From a Phoenixville, Pennsylvania collection. Condition: Good condition. Largest basket has minor breakage to base.
