Two Wooden Antique Carved Bird Decoys - Description: Two hand carved and painted wooden antique duck decoys, including one merganser and one ruddy duck. The ruddy duck is marked 'CWW' on underside. The Merganser has original nailed components. Markings & Inscriptions: One marked Date: 19th century Maker: American Dimensions: Merganser measures 6.5” x 14” x 6”, ruddy duck measures 5” x 8.5” x 5.5”. Provenance: From a Phoenixville, Pennsylvania collection. Condition: Fair condition. Paint on merganser has worn, tail has cracked, nails have rusted. Ruddy duck's paint has faded, commensurate with age and use.
