19th Century Neoclassical Bronze Bas Relief Tazza, Lidded Vessel - Description: A Neoclassical bronze tazza with a bas relief plaque depciting a Greco-Roman scene, on a presumably later bronzed spelter pedestal base with openwork design and supported by lion's heads and three paw feet, together with a Bronze lidded vessel on a presumably later bronzed spelter base. Markings & Inscriptions: Unmarked Date: 19th Century Maker: Probably French Dimensions: Tazza: 6” x 11.25”. Lidded vessel: 7” x 10” x 6.25”. Provenance:From a Boston, Massachusetts collection. Condition: Good condition. Tazza: The top slightly uneven and the bas relief plaque loose from the basin. Lidded vessel: loose on the base.
