Old Hickory Octagonal Barrel Table and Two Rattan and Barrel Cushioned Chairs - Description: An Old Hickory of Martinsville octagonal wooden dining table with splayed legs, a barrel-style apron with vertical wooden slats and hand-wrought nails, together with two round barrel-based side chairs with orange upholstery, a rattan woven back and turned pommels. Markings & Inscriptions: Marked 'Old Hickory Martinsville' on underside Date: Early to mid 20th century Maker: Old Hickory Dimensions: Table: 30” x 40”. Chairs: 35” x 19”. Provenance: From a West Chester, Pennsylvania collection. Condition: Good condition. Some wear to surfaces, particularly the table top, commensurate with age and use.
