Lladro 18th Century Coach Porcelain Sculptural Grouping Designed by Franciso Catala - Description: Lladro 'XVIIIth Century Coach' porcelain sculptural grouping designed by Fransisco Catala. Released in a limited edition of 500 units, this model was inspired by the original coaches housed at the Coach Museum in Lisbon. A baroque style carriage is pulled by four white horses in full turnout while the lord and lady passengers are attended by a carriage driver and two footmen. Set upon a wooden plinth base. Markings & Inscriptions: Lladro plaque applied to the wooden base Date: Late 20th Century Maker: Francisco Catala for Lladro Dimensions: 17.75” x 44.5” x 11.75”. Provenance: From a Yardley, Pennsylvania colleciton. Condition: There is a repair to a horse's tail and a bush attached to its leg. The cross beam beneath the driver is detached (previously repaired). There are missing feathers, primariily to one horse's head adornment. There is a small chip to one of the bushes. Otherwise the condition is very good.
