A Group of English Canine Figurines and Wall Plaques including Sylvac and Bossons A collection of seven decorative canine-themed items comprising glazed ceramic figurines and wall-mounted plaques. The group features several pieces from prominent British manufacturers. A Bossons Pekinese wall plaque, constructed from painted chalkware. The reverse is incised with the marks Bossons, England, and World Copyright Reserved. It features a realistic depiction of a Pekinese head with a metal hanging loop. A large Sylvac seated long-haired dog figurine, possibly a Yorkshire Terrier or similar breed, finished in a tan glaze. The base bears a printed Sylvac mark. A Sylvac seated Corgi figurine in an alert pose, featuring an orange and white glaze. The base is impressed with the marks Sylvac, England, and the model number 1977. A standing English Bulldog figurine in brown and white glaze, with the underside impressed with the mark England and model number 156. A stylised head wall plaque of a Bulldog or Boxer with a high-gloss, multi-toned brown and black glaze. The reverse is incised with England and model number 1202. Two small standing Pekinese dog figurines, one finished in a white and tan glaze and the other in a reddish-brown glaze. One figurine features an open aperture on the base.
