A Collection of British and French Ceramics Including McDougalls, T.G. Green Cornishware, and Quimper Style Faience This collection comprises a diverse range of primarily British and French ceramic items, including advertising, commemorative, and decorative wares. The lot features a large tapered white earthenware storage jar with blue transfer-printed advertising for McDougalls Flour, incised HONITON ENGLAND to the base. A T.G. Green Cornishware cylindrical jar is included, decorated with characteristic blue and white horizontal bands and accompanied by a separate ventilated stand with a green factory backstamp. French faience items include a Saint-Malo plate hand-painted with a central scene of a couple in traditional Breton costume and a sponged blue border, and a lidded two-handled bowl inscribed Marylene with floral decoration, both in the Quimper style. Also present is a small cream jug in the Seaforth pattern with a blue transfer-printed rural landscape, marked to the base with a rope-knot symbol. The assortment is completed by a two-handled Queen Mother 90th birthday commemorative mug, a large earthenware cheese dome decorated with multi-coloured fruit baskets, a small cream jug with a hand-painted cottage scene, a solid brown glazed two-handled mug, and a decorative porcelain lid with floral and green banding.
