Two Royal Doulton and Coalport Bone China Lady Figurines, Loretta and Valerie This lot comprises two English bone china lady figurines produced by Royal Doulton and Coalport. The first figurine is a Royal Doulton piece titled Loretta, model number HN 2337, designed by Margaret Davies. It features a female figure in a purple off-the-shoulder gown with puffed sleeves and a yellow shawl draped over her arms, with blonde hair in a bun accented by a floral ornament. The base bears a green printed Royal Doulton mark with a crown and lion, inscribed Loretta, H N 2337, COPR 1965, DOULTON & CO LIMITED, and registration numbers Rd No 921234, Rd No 478889, Rd No 10344, and Rd No 455/65. A hand-painted gold decorator mark 8. is also visible. The second figurine is a Coalport piece titled Valerie from the Ladies of Fashion series, modelled by Jack Bromley. The figure is depicted in a tiered pink and magenta gown with matching opera gloves and brunette hair styled with a pink headband. The base features a black printed Coalport mark with a crown symbol, inscribed Ladies of Fashion, Valerie, HAND DECORATED, MODELLED BY J Bromley, and dated © Coalport 1995.
