A Collection of Souvenir Ceramic Beer Steins and Mugs including West German Lidded Stein This collection consists of several souvenir ceramic beer vessels featuring relief decoration and varied glazes. The primary item is a lidded beer stein by W. Schmidt, constructed from glazed pottery with a cobalt blue ground. The body features relief-moulded panels, including a central scene of the town Boppard am Rhein with a coat of arms, and a side panel depicting an alpine chapel. The vessel is fitted with a conical metal lid, likely pewter, featuring a decorative thumb lift. The base is marked with a circular black stamp reading Handarbeit, W. Schmidt, made in W. Germany, handpainted, and includes an incised number 69. The collection also includes an open tankard with a central panel titled CORBIERE LIGHTHOUSE JERSEY, showing the coastal landmark in relief, with a side panel depicting an alpine chalet and edelweiss flowers. Additionally, there is a pair of miniature mugs featuring relief-moulded scenes of a couple in traditional folk dress and a castle town on the reverse. One miniature mug is marked with a single character P on the base.
