A Pair of Framed Original Watercolours by Ieuan Thomas, Bryn Bed and St Cennyth Church A pair of original watercolour paintings with pen and ink detailing on textured paper, both by the artist Ieuan Thomas. The first work, titled Bryn Bed, depicts a white-walled rural cottage with several figures, dry stone walls, and trees set within a hilly landscape. The second work shows St Cennyth Church, a stone ecclesiastical building with a square tower, also set in a landscape with dry stone walling and autumn-toned foliage. Both pieces are executed in a naïve illustrative style using light washes and fine ink outlines. Each painting is signed I Thomas in the lower right corner and is presented in a matching dark wood frame with a gilt inner slip and cream mount. The verso of each frame features an Ocean Gallery, Swansea Marina label identifying the artist as Ieuan Thomas and providing the titles.
