The die-cast metal body is finished in a grey-green hammered texture with black pebble-grained leatherette panels. It is equipped with a P. Angénieux Paris Angénieux-Zoom Type K2 lens with a focal length of 9mm to 36mm and a maximum aperture of f/1.8. The camera features script lettering to the body and a dedicated model badge reading MADE IN FRANCE MR 8. The base of the camera is stamped with serial number B212910. The lens barrel is inscribed with full manufacturer details and serial number 759420, with focus scales marked in feet.
