Two Poole Pottery Ceramic Items Comprising a Sherwood Pattern Plate and a Dolphin Figurine A group of two Poole Pottery ceramic items. The first is a round dinner plate in the Sherwood pattern, featuring a speckled cream-coloured stoneware body decorated with a central transfer-printed floral bouquet of yellow flowers and dark olive-brown foliage. The design is enclosed by a wide, radially ribbed border and finished with a dark brown rim. The reverse of the plate bears a black backstamp with a dolphin logo above POOLE ENGLAND followed by OVEN PROOF & DISHWASHER SAFE. The second item is a stylised ceramic figurine depicting a dolphin leaping over a wave, finished in a high-gloss, two-tone glaze that transitions from deep navy-black on the dorsal surface to a lighter teal-blue on the underside and wave base. The underside of the base is stamped in black with POOLE ENGLAND.
