The composition presents a vibrant reimagining of traditional Japanese motifs in a modern graphic style, featuring a dripping red sun positioned above foaming waves and stylised mountains. The image is framed by dense patterns of chrysanthemums, bamboo, and foliage in shades of blue, red, and white. A large vertical column of blue Japanese calligraphy dominates the right-hand side. The lower margin carries the printed copyright inscription 'Akarui Yama' © Terratag 2008 AGL8063. A red hanko-style square seal is printed in the lower right corner of the design.
