A Victorian Style Painted Cast Brass Figural Umbrella Stand This Victorian-style hall stand is constructed from hollow-cast brass. The piece features a central support in the form of a rustic male figure dressed in traditional attire, standing upon a rocky ground. The figure holds aloft a double support ring designed for umbrellas or walking sticks. The stand is mounted on a wide, shell-form drip tray featuring high-relief scrollwork and foliate decoration, supported by four integral scrolled feet. The entire surface has been finished with a layer of off-white paint. The underside of the base reveals the cast brass construction with decorative relief details.
