Antique Sterling Silver Lucky Horseshoe and Heather Brooch A sterling silver brooch of sentimental design, characteristic of the late 19th or early 20th century. The piece features a horseshoe motif representing good luck, overlaid with a detailed sprig of heather, a common Scottish symbol for luck and protection. The horseshoe is detailed with incised nail marks and the reverse is stamped with the mark STERLING SILVER. The brooch is constructed with a hinged pin and a traditional C-clasp.
