A breathtaking, late 19th Century, Japy Freres French carriage clock with a gold gilt Anglais Riche case having decorative bands and corner

Corinthian pilasters, folding handle, gilt floral dial mask with arabic numeral white enamel dial, blued steel spade hands, 8 day timepiece movement with lever platform and cut bimetallic balance. Stamped with a trademark for Japy Freres and numbered 5112, striking half hour on a coil gong.
