A GEORGE I EBONISED QUARTER REPEATING BRACKET CLOCK OF SMALL PROPORTIONS the inverted bell top with brass carrying handle above a moulded arch glazed door with gilt sound frets enclosing a 6" gilt brass arched dial having masked spandrels, engraved silvered Roman chapter ring with outer Arabic minutes, matted centre with calendar aperture, the arch having penny moon aperture fronting an eight-day double fusee five pillar movement with verge escapement, quarter pull repeat on a small bell, striking the hours on a larger bell, back plate fully engraved.
