A LATE 19TH CENTURY FRENCH PALAIS ROYALE ORMOLU MOUNTED MOTHER-OF-PEARL ETUI with 18ct gold mounts to the accessories. The hinged case is in the form of two stacked books with engraved mother-of-pearl covers and an inlaid shield cartouche opened to reveal a velvet-lined fitted interior with a mirror.
