A 19TH CENTURY FRENCH GILT ENGRAVED STRIKING CARRIAGE CLOCK, the finely engraved gilt brass case has canted corners with glazed panels and a shuttered back door enclosing a signed enamel dial with Roman numerals fronting a signed eight-day spring driven movement with the original jewelled compensated lever escapement striking the hours/half hours on a bell. - comes with a service receipt and keys.
