A 19TH CENTURY FRENCH GILT BRASS REPEATING CARRIAGE CLOCK WITH CALENDAR AND MOONPHASE, the moulded glazed brass case with reeded Corinthian corner columns enclosing a gilt foliate filligree masked porcelain dial with Roman numerals and moonphase aperture above three subsidiary dials for day date and alarm fronting an eight-day spring driven movement with original compensated lever escapement striking and repeating on a gong, front plate stamped ”AD” possibly Alfred Drocourt.
