AN EARLY 20TH CENTURY MINIATURE CHIPPENDALE STYLE LONGCASE CLOCK - AN EARLY 20TH CENTURY MINIATURE CHIPPENDALE STYLE LONGCASE CLOCK with swan neck pediment above a blind fret frieze and glazed arched door flanked by reeded columns on a slender trunk with shaped door and reeded quarter columns on a canted brick moulded base raised on ogee bracket feet. The 5” brass arched dial with pierced spandrels and silvered chapter ring surrounding a matted centre fronting an eight-day spring-driven movement with anchor escapement chiming the quarters on five gongs.
