A VERY RARE PRE-PATENT BENTLEY ELECTRIC WALL CLOCK, the ebonised glazed case enclosing a 12” glass dial with gilt Roman numerals fronting a brass skeletonised electrically driven movement with heavy brass bob pendulum run through a coil with insulated contact trollies, the backboard mounted with a silvered plaque inscribed by the retailer ” E. SMITH, LEEDS”. The clock has been restored in recent years with the process being documented in The Horological Journal, April 2022. A copy of the journal will accompany the clock. (140cm high)
