A SMALL LATE 18TH CENTURY FRENCH QUARTER CHIMING BRACKET CLOCK, the brass moulded mahogany case with inverted bell top pediment and glazed doors enclosing a 4” arched brass dial with urn and garland mounts surrounding a convex enamel dial with Roman numerals and silvered alarm dial fronting an eight day movement with chain driven going train and spring driven strike, the quarters chiming on two hammers on a smaller bell and the hours on a larger bell also with alarm strike, original balance wheel verge escapement.
