A GEORGE III ORMOLU MOUNTED MUSICAL VERGE BRACKET CLOCK, the ebonised case with bell top pediment above a glazed door with pierced ormolu sound frets and caryatid canted corners enclosing an 7” arched brass dial with gilt spandrels and silvered chapter ring surrounding a matted centre with calendar aperture below two subsidiary dials for Strike/Silent and tune selection fronting an eight day triple fusee movement with verge escapement and scroll engraved backplate chiming the hours on a large bell, and playing one of four tunes on ten bells.
