A GEORGE III AND LATER VERGE BRACKET CLOCK, the 19th century inlaid ormolu mounted case with inverted bell top and caryatid canted corners enclosing a 7” gilt engraved brass dial with white enamel centre having Roman numerals and concentric calendar below a subsidiary Strike/Silent dial in Spanish script fronting an eight-day double fusee movement with full engraved backplate and verge escapement striking on a bell.
