The 10” square gilded brass dial with wheatear engraved border, pierced gilt cast spandrels and slender silvered Roman chapter ring surrounding a matted centre with subsidiary seconds dial and calendar aperture fronting a latched eight-day weight driven movement with six finned knopped pillars and outside countwheel striking the hours on a domed steel bell.
