A MID 19TH CENTURY SILVER COFFEE POT with ornate foliate and acanthus decoration to the baluster-shaped body, on a circular foot, engraved on both sides with a coat of arms, having a hinged lid with a floral finial. The handle is decorated with floral and acanthus leaf motifs interspersed with two ivory segments. Hallmarked London 1866 by Mappin Brothers (Edward & Joseph Mappin). Total weight app. 880g.
