At the exhibition at Market Rasen in July 1856, this cup, offered by Sir Edward Brackenbury for the gelding or mare not exceeding 15 hands best calculated to carry 18 stone as a Hack, was awarded to Mr Richard Fox of Manton for his roan mare aged 8 years.
