KARL GRIESBAUM (GERMANY 1872 - 1941) AN EARLY 20TH CENTURY BLACK FOREST AUTOMATA of a whistling drunkard leaning against an illuminated lamp post, holding a bottle in his pocket. When operated, the key wound movement to the body and below moves his head from side to side. There is a battery compartment at the base of the lamp post. The movement is stamped 'MADE IN GERMANY' and has the Karl Griesbaum logo. (50cm high)
