AN EARLY 18TH CENTURY WALNUT AND MARQUETRY QUARTER CHIMING TRIPLE FUSEE BRACKET CLOCK having an inlaid domed top with brass finials and pierced gilt brass gallery, enclosing a 9” arched brass dial with matted centre, mock pendulum and calendar aperture, the arch with strike/silent dial and recessed sunburst, fronting a substantial eight-day verge escapement movement with finely engraved backplate, chiming the quarters on six bells and striking the hour on a larger bell.
