A LATE 17TH CENTURY BRASS LATERN CLOCK the brass case with turned finials, pierced scroll front fret, strapped arched supports and a domed bell on turned feet enclosing the 6.5” dial with Roman numerals and scroll-engraved centre, signed John Fordham Dunmow and numbered 428; fronting a weight-driven movement with anchor escapement, striking the hours on the bell.
