A GEORGE III FIGURED MAHOGANY AND SATINWOOD INLAID LONGCASE CLOCK having a swan-neck pediment with eagle finial, inlaid frieze and fluted columns, the trunk with satinwood-banded door and oval inlaid panels, raised on a plinth base, enclosing a 13” square brass dial with silvered chapter ring, matted centre and recessed subsidiary seconds and calendar dials, fronting an eight-day weight-driven movement with anchor escapement striking on a bell.
