A GEORGE III ORMOLU MOUNTED MAHOGANY MUSICAL BRACKET CLOCK of caddy-topped mahogany case with urn finials, gilt bronze caryatid angle mounts, pierced side sound frets and ring handles, on a stepped plinth with leaf-cast scroll feet enclosing a 9” painted dial with three subsidiary dials in the arch for strike/not strike, chime/not chime and tune selection, fronting a substantial 8-day triple fusee movement with scroll-engraved backplate and verge escapement playing a selection of six tunes on twelve bells and chiming the quarters on two separate bells.
