A GEORGE II EBONISED MUSICAL BRACKET CLOCK having an inverted bell top pediment with gilt brass handle, break arch moulding and pierced gilt sound frets, the glazed door enclosing an 8” arched brass dial with gilt spandrels, silvered engraved chapter ring, matted centre, calendar aperture and mock pendulum, the arch with subsidiary music selection dial and strike/not strike and chime/not chime levers, fronting an eight-day fusee movement with engraved backplate and verge escapement, chiming four tunes on eight bells and fourteen hammers, with pull repeat on six hammers and striking the hours on a ninth bell.
